Cantarello, led by Chef Joe Cardinale, is a New York-based catering company and personal chef service. While Cardinale offers a wide variety of foods, he wanted his brand identity to reflect the Italian heritage and cooking techniques that he was raised on. The Italian word Cantarello translates to chanterelle — one of the most common edible mushrooms and a staple in a lot of Joe's dishes — which served as a core illustrative element in the brand's logo. The brand's colors were selected as a nod to the yellow/golden chanterelle. The Cantarello website was built on WordPress, is fully responsive to mobile, and allows for Joe and his staff to easily update the information sections and images within.
